A VIEW (A Village for Independent and Enterprising Women) strives to build an atmosphere of inclusivity for women from diverse backgrounds so as to empower them by means of an environmental friendly and self- sustaining community in a rural setting. The fun evening on 27th March is a furtherance of this very worthy cause with a plethora of activities on the menu. Come Friday and Kolkata’s JW Marriott will come alive in a gala celebration with cocktail, dinner, DJ, dancing, fashion, music- all in pursuit of a common goal, the betterment of the women residents of A VIEW.

The event will also host a fashion walk- through with the model residents of A VIEW who will be flaunting handloom sarees by Suchismita Dasgupta of Nextile and upcycled sari attires by LataSita Kaporjama. Kolkata solo- pop singer Francis Lepcha will be enthralling the gathering with his foot tapping numbers even as his musical tribute to women will be holding all in awe at the sheer strength heralded by the fairer sex.
