Adhuna Bhabani, the lady with impeccable style and the owner of beauty salon franchisee BBLUNT is a celebrity hair stylist and a mainstream presence in Bollywood. Better known as Adhuna Bhabani Akhtar after her marriage to now divorced husband Farhan Akhtar, Adhuna is one of those fiercely independent, free- spirited woman who has made it big on her own.

Born to Dr Ashish Bhabani and Ann on 30th March, 1967, Adhuna spent her childhood in Liverpool, England. The fascination for hairstyling took root in her psyche during her formative years itself, as Adhuna used to frequent a salon in the UK with her mother. Ann had always been particular about how her daughter Adhuna Bhabani kept her hair. That, as also something about the ambience of that place, propelled Adhuna into the then unheralded world of hair styling.

Adhuna had been married to Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar since 2000 and the couple has two daughters Shakya and Akira. However, they divorced in 2016 but continues to be good friends even now. Bhabani has known Farhan since the time he was still writing the script for Dil Chahta Hai and she applauds him as the ‘Father of my children is a good human being”.

Bhabani seems to have moved on from her broken marriage since then and as per buzz in the media is reportedly dating Nicolo Morea, brother of model and Bollywood actor Dino Morea. A restaurateur and the co-owner of Crepe Station Cafe and Safron Bay in Mumbai, Nicolo features often in Bhabani’s Instagram stories and the hair stylist even referred to her new lover as ‘being a patient one’ in a poem that she shared on the occasion of her 50th birthday.

Interestingly, Farhan often comments on his ex- wife’s Instagram posts and the two seems to share a really cordial relation. Even Akhtar seems to have moved on now and is rumoured to be dating VJ Shibani Dandekar.

Adhuna began her career by launching her salon Juice in 1998 with brother and business partner Osh Bhabani, which later came to be known by its now famous name BBLUNT. Debuting in Bollywood with Dil Chahta Hai in 2001, Bhabani has gone on to work in Bombay Boys (1998) as additional make up artist, while going on to work as hair designer in Lakshya (2004), Don (2006), The Crazy Four (2008), Look Again and Again (2016) and more recently in Friend’s Wedding.
