Mounds of flurry fluffiness that melts away our heart- cats aren’t just pets to cuddle. These balls of happiness are such adept at living life the way they want that would put any human to shame. Blessed are those who ace at living life cat size. Following are 16 instance you can relate to if you are half human, half cat. A ‘humacat’, perhaps!
#1 Sleep the day away
Cats sleep two- thirds of their lives away. Now isn’t that pretty much how we would like our life summed up? Only cats have their life sorted. All of us else are fussing over nothing. Too bad!
#2 The world can go to hell, but am gonna chill!
What’s the point in stressing your brain out when things will only happen how and when they are meant to be? Cats never stress, they just lay back and let the world go about at its own pace while they go on their own. No order, no bother. Cool.
#3 Moods are meant to swing
Like why would moods be plural if you weren’t expected to fluctuate radically from one to the other? I can be jolly one moment and totally grumpy the next. And if you can’t handle me in all of that, stay away.
#4 Give me some hugs
Cats love to cuddle. And so do humans. Occasionally. There’s nothing that beats the comfort of a snug, warm hug and the sensation of snuggling close to a fond being is just the perfect remedy for a bad mood.
#5 And lotsss of snacks
Netflix and chill may be cool, but snacks and lots of snacks is way cooler. And don’t worry about the fats that would accumulate all over your body. Our furry friends are all so rotund and yet we love them more than most humans. Life is better with food any day and none of us is complaining!
#6 But also plenty of alone time to recharge
I love you if you love and feed me, and covet and need me. But I can still get tired of you. Sometimes too soon in fact. However cuddled up cats might be known to be, it’s as much of a fact that they need plenty of alone time. Either to recharge or just because company with self is supreme. But indeed a life lesson introverts in particular can draw happiness from.
#7 Give me some sunshine
Cats love to bask in the comfort of the glowing sun. They laze about at will for hours under the heat, sun bathing and relaxing themselves. If only we humans would not have been so pressed about time, we would have so much loved to do the same. Cats can in fact be the sunshine of our lives.

#8 But don’t give me any rain
Dejected and depressed rainy afternoons are such a set back to both cats and their hoomans. With mischief options seriously curtailed, rains can give all reasons to crib about the futility of life and existence. And no one likes to be miserable like what we are on a relentlessly cold and dreary pouring day.
#9 Spare time for some stare!
Cats have this wonderful ability of just sitting and gaze around at the umpteenth of things that might be happening at the moment. Be it a butterfly being chased or leaves being brushed away, cats teach us that happiness indeed lies in the simpler things of life.
#10 An unwavering eye contact stare, please
Cats know how awkwardly convincing a stare can be. Either because they can put you off by being seriously intimidating or driving you crazy with that unto innfinity piercing into the eyes. An important life lesson though if you need to get your away around to convince someone into giving in.
#11 As curious as a cat!
Curiosity might have killed the cat but death is anyway inevitable. So why not let your inner catty curiosity lead you to discover newer things in life? Poking your nose into everyone’s business might not be fun but cats know how to ace the intruder game with their innocent face and never give up attitude.
#12 Too much of anything is bad
Overdoses are harmful. Be it alcohol or sweets, and even hugs or love. And cats seem to know it more than anyone else in the world. So hold them too tight and they will probably claw at you. This is a specifically important lesson to be applied in life- withdraw from anyone and anything that tries to hold on a bit too tight.
#13 Live life with the catty vibe!
Cats are absolutely non nonchalant when it comes to giving an attitude. They live life in their own terms and don’t give a damn to what the world expects of them. If this ain’t life aspirations, then I don’t know what is!
#14 Zone outers
Any one who has this tendency of zoning out in the middle of conversations will understand how cats can dreamily drift away to far off lands and not even be apologetic for it. Like dude, that’s my specialty. And if you still want to discuss about that with me, sorry but I’m already zoning away to yet another world.
#15 The absolute diva
Cats are extremely self conscious beings- spending hours licking themselves clean, purring their way to glamour. Grooming and self worth lessons are therefore one very important catty thing to take inspiration from.
#16 I am my absolute love!
Have you ever seen a cat giving a damn about anyone who isn’t them? No. Because cats believe in self love more than any of us ever will. Call it self obsession, narcissism or haughty pride, but kitties don’t care what you think of them. They know that their first priority is the self. If only lesser mortals would have such a deep understanding of the most essential truth of existence, the world would have been a much more happier place.
