Being 21 with Yoga

So are you a yogaholic or gymaholic? This is the way now a days we start our conversation related to health. Physical activity is very important in the current life style to keep up good health. In our way of making our Country a Developed one, we are indulging in more work than earlier days.

A recent study found that Indians work for 8.1 hours every day, more than the average figure for the entire developed world  and individual countries like the UK, Australia, France, Italy and Germany. It’s an indication for us to take a serious look upon our health. Health experts advise us to do exercises, sports or yoga as a part of daily routine for a healthy living. But out of them, doing Yoga is very essential.

The conceptual background of Yoga has its origins in ancient Indian Philosophy. In general all the physical exercises helps us to relieve stress, make us active and even enhance the mood. Further they decrease the propensity for disorders like high blood pressure, heart problems,diabetes,muscle pains etc. But besides all these, Yoga also helps to overcome anxiety, depression and other psychological disorders. It is a process to control the mercurial  nature, regulates emotions and also bring flexibility to body. It helps an individual to be a goal oriented person. Meditation and yoga brings  positive vibes and calmness among the students and if they do it regularly it will help in bringing positive outcomes which is advantageous for the scholars.

Yoga helps students to achieve their goal in a defined manner by enhancing their memory and providing them more energy and enthusiasm. It plays an important role in increasing the sharpness of our brain and our concentration power. Although it is not a replacement of medicines, yet there are millions of people who has the wont to do Yoga daily and had kept doctors at bay. The magic of yoga is that as we begin the basic stretches we can immediately discover where our deficiencies are. If we are really up to, then we should not be discouraged by all these. Some people even claim that yoga gave them more vitality than they ever had in their lives. Even those who began later in life also benefited from its practice. With the suggestion of  Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the declaration by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) now we have 21st June as The  International Day of Yoga . To increase its  practice , more Yoga Kendra should be introduced in different parts of our country. 

Studies have shown that doing yoga is one of the greatest ways to slow the clock(of age). It’s not just because you’re helping your muscles remain limber-a regular yoga practice may increase the levels of stay-young hormones that can slow the aging process. “Facial yoga” is not a new term in this field. Facial yoga was developed by Annelise Hagin, a yoga instructor in New York  city. Younger-looking skin in just minutes a day-with no expensive creams or invasive procedures: that’s the promise of Facial yoga, it’s a method of breathing and stretching exercises developed to rejuvenate and firm up facial muscles and tissues. Facial yoga helps to relieve tensions from the areas we tend to squeeze and scrunch all day long-like the forehead, eyebrows and around the jaws and mouth.

Doctors also believe that Facial yoga can be helpful in staving off wrinkles. We always want to look  a few years younger in compare to our age, yoga for sure help us to look younger. It is seen that there is an uptrend of earning the tag of Evergreen in the glamour world. Most of the well known celebrities are switching to Yoga and it becomes the reason of their fit and young look. It’s a remedy to remain healthy and young for a long time. The secret of being 21 is to live honestly , eat slowly and do YOGA regularly.

Yoga  is not a work out, it is a work in. It is a great way to feel more in tune with who we are both on the inside and out ,and to understand how magical our body is as a system.
