Dreaming through the days

daydreaming

Daydreaming is pleasurable, essential even and convenient as well a means in creativity and relaxation and therefore also some sort of wellbeing. But consider the many disreputes in which daydreaming is received and one might find themselves struggling not to yield themselves to this curious capacity of not entirely and absolutely the conscious.

Today though the merits that call upon daydreaming as a requirement almost in ordinariness are quite established. With lesser a degree of stigma dictating its essence therefore, it is ‘easier’ to daydream now than it has ever been. And yet, as a process in existence that has continued since the times human have been breathing out their lives upon earth, daydreaming never had been tough to come across as. But that one had to cleverly shield from others their intentions in drifting away for a while, even when pretty much everyone else around them harbours the same tendency in much fetish almost is what made daydreaming a not so dreamy prospect to chase in real life.

An art indeed with much science to back it up, dreaming with open eyes has been a fore widely considered and explored and studied. And from out of these extensive fascinations in musing and imagining and existing have entailed many a explanations for this phenomenon of an altered conscience. What has been availed thus far out of this subject tends to be no any less fascinating as well, for daydreams might be rather subconscious assertions of the human mind but they can attest to be as deliberate as well.

Its steeping in curious purpose or not, daydreaming stems as an experience in much paradoxical pursuing that we pursue through our life emerging as as significant a paradox of its own. Owing perhaps to such sitting in sync with the basic character of life itself, the awareness in daydreaming or even its experience in not so much consciousness is very characteristic of us humans. Whether other animals outside our two legged classification adhere to this dimension of dwelling in deliberate daytime dreaming is not something we know definitely about. But as concerns our own essential residing through this daydreaming of the fancies that we wish life to find realisation in, this is a trait much universal and innate and necessary as well.

It might seem like adult humans are the ones largely conjuring up for themselves visions of the imaginary even in the stark daylight settings of the glaring world gaze. That seems like a pretty obvious something to consider- in being disillusioned much with the harsh realities, one would but naturally find it tempting to withdraw one’s real experiences as far as possible. And yet what emerges as a revealing much reality of unexpected terms is the fact that it is children who are greater daydreamers than anyone else. Quite a paradox to lose one’s mind to, don’t you think?

The reasons as to why one might be less likelier to lose themselves in the entranced existence of daydreams is not definitely established. But that does not make it any less realer an assertion universally occurring. Much like the intensity and frequency of dreaming outside the determinants of sleep, it also is the manner and way of daydreaming that changes as one advances through their life. Come to think of it and this is a natural evolution much, in resonating with the truth of life finding realisation and relevance differently and diversely in its developing through the years.

Why one is less likely to develop as they age should not however be too profound a though to consider. That despite our experience in fairly occurring a frequency of those visions conjured up in a La-La Land- and in much need of them as well and it might seem quite contrasting a claim in daydreams being lesser assertions in the years of practical life. But with evidence and the statistics to back it up, based of course on careful consideration in scientific terms and perhaps we should be believing of the idea of daydreaming being less manifesting through the years of advancing age.

The premise of it is quite simple to understand though. It might be that we are living indeed at the present what was once the future of our dreams- day dreams precisely, with no much further scope therefore in engaging our imaginations. That is the best case scenario though, the worst one being disillusioned enough indeed to lose all spright to even fantasise. And it is in such spaces of coming to live in, whether as better off or worse off existences that we begin to lose out considerably on this creative urge to float about in the fancies of a wonderland.

The same holds for a change of the technique in daydreaming as what accompanies the shift in that experience as a particular pattern. The manner of characteristic this time though is not as psychological as it is physical. A change in the structure of the nerve connections that shape the brain is what alters the way and mannerism in which these dreams dawn upon our subconscious. Of course a matured brain would not be working along the same lines as what a tender realisation would be actively indulging in.

Much active and excited indeed is the human brain when it ekes out visions for itself less real and more dreamy. And hence what emerges in figure is a considerable span of 30% of the entire day being lost to daydreaming as a rather standard setting in time. The extension though of one specific incident in daydreaming tends to be a much concise span of a mere 14 seconds. Compound that by the many number of times one would like to drift away from the routine occurrences of everyday life and regular living for the average human isn’t just one experienced along the dimensions of the real world.

Daydreaming might be very often an indulgence undertaken to break away from the monotonous trudges of work and life. But it need not necessarily be marked only in that aspect of stemming. For daydreaming can be much deliberate in their inducing as ploys to stir creativity and rejuvenate the mind. That depends much on what you dream about with open eyes though as not every kind of trance like existence can be beneficial for the human being. Even outside of creativity, daydreaming can have such benefits that come across as being assertions in overall wellness- whether that be in physical terms of neurology or more mind related ideas of the relaxed and the refreshing.

This dual dwelling of the dreamy means that this is an awareness much bodily indeed even when it isn’t recognised as such in that range of residing. Physiological much are the many markings of how and what daydreams tend to be, like in the case of expanded pupils for instance or instead in the more peered into aspects of a half asleep brain. These areas of impact through which daydreams entail or that which they might induce instead are what ultimately determines the wasteful or resourceful potential of daydreaming.

Either way therefore, daydreams adhere to a state of duality which establishes its notion in being a paradox of sorts. It pays therefore to learn the hows of deliberate daydreaming- phenomenal enough to command the mind to such actions that explores the avenues of productivity in creative terms. The coming to terms though with this much conscious experience in dreamy living calls for restraint to be exercised across many areas of exploring. Be it in setting strictly the period of time by reigning in imaginations to be as brief and as limitless as possible or the confounding once again necessity in not being too enjoying of that experience so as to lose yourself completely to their happening, deliberate daydreaming is an art indeed in its character as well of letting subsequent bouts of the artistic find flourish.

Simultaneously it is a science as well- this characteristic expression of daydreams as an occurrence in realistic some premise of worth. Even in their a bit too far fetched prospect, daydreams still end up lending us a vision in aspiration, of making these earnest desires of the heart a reality outside their imaginary happening. Daydreams might help us to unwind but they also can be an outlet for charging our minds with the essential conviction in coming someday to truly exist in them.

As avenues in existing in a parallel reality, one dictated by the personal churn of own fancies, daydreams are very enriching experiences indeed of a happy life. Even when it might be interpreted as a ploy of escapism, it is essential to recognise that escaping briefly the often taxing realms of reality every now and then can lead to a kind of living experience that is all the more rewarding. Come to consider also additional aspects of accessing thus the very virtuous essence of the human in emerging to be more empathetic and kind and intuitive and daydream harbours within itself an identity of profound understanding. And it is in partaking of such encompassive experience that this traditionally frowned upon straying of the brain occurs as that we curate for ourselves a life crafted in the riches of creativity.
