Seems like the news has an affinity for Anushka Sharma!
So after a week of affectionate display for husband Virat Kohli, the Bollywood actress is ruling social media yet again.
This time, courtesy a video posted by Kohli, which sees the diva shaming a road litterer.
Saw these people throwing garbage on the road & pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean? Yeah right! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same & spread awareness. @AnushkaSharma pic.twitter.com/p8flrmcnba

The video has gone viral and now internet is abuzz with all sorts of content on the entire episode.
First, it was the accused himself, Arrhan Singh who lambasted Anushka for ‘the garbage that came out of her mouth’ as also ‘the trashy mind’ Virat for posting the entire thing online.
Next in line was Singh’s mother who accused the couple of intruding her son’s right to privacy.
Also, a section of netizens cornered the star pair, branding their act as a publicity stunt.
Only one line for the Kohli thing – Right intent, wrong execution.

To think this Twitter vigilantism will make our people fitter or our roads cleaner is as immature as… hoping Corey Anderson can win you games in IPL.

Kohli/Anushka need to understand you can still do things in the world without posting about it on insta. You wanted to send a message across to a fellow commuter, fine! Taking your camera out as you do that itself is nauseating, let alone posting it without hiding the man’s face.

Twitterati were quick to add humor with a series of epic memes.
* A Guy is throwing plastic on road *
Anushka- Don’t throw it on road .
Guy- Maine aapki bombay velvet 2 baar theatre me dekhi hai
Anushka- Arre mai utha deti hu tum aaram se ghar jaao .— Hunट₹₹♂ ?? (@nickhunterr) June 17, 2018
And after all the backlash and trolls that had flooded the internet, Virat retorted to all accusations with a Twitter post.
Lot of people who don’t have the courage to do something like this find it funny. Everything for people nowadays is meme content. Shame.

It seems this is going to be yet another epic social media crossover!
