The Spice Girls may finally be up for a reunion!
Well, while this is the news that have been doing the rounds for the most part of 2018, nothing has happened of yet that can be termed as outright iconic and historic.
More recently, one of the former members Victoria Beckham had outright refuted reports of such thing as a reunion tour that finally led us to believe that the Spice Girls, maybe, were not destined to be a reality anytime soon.
But fans of the iconic band can rejoice now as another member of the former band Mel B has ‘asked’ Mrs Beckham to stop rubbishing the reunion reports, while insisting that the tour is still very much on!
During Melania’s recent appearance on the Today Show’s Kathie Lee & Hoda segment she said, “We are touring!” Not only that she also snapped at Victoria regarding her comments, saying “She’s always bloody saying that. Stop it! We are touring!”
The 1994 pop group last performed together in the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony after a record breaking comeback show staged back in 2009.
Victoria Beckham, Geri Horner, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton and Melanie Chisholm had formed the all girls band in what had been termed the most recognisable face of youth culture in the UK of the 1990s.
However, here has not been any official confirmation from the entire band as of yet, but with Mel B’s recent comments, we really do hope that the girls will reunite to once again enthrall us with their croonings.
We are keeping our fingers crossed for the moment, because Mel B had also earlier stated that the band would be performing in the 2018 royal wedding as well. But that didn’t work out.
And seriously Spice Girls, we cannot afford yet another heartbreak.
