Instagram had a moment of throwback glory on Tuesday, when Dream Girl Hema Malini took to the photo sharing site to post a rare throwback pic from her iconic film Sholay.
The frame captures the director of the 1975 blockbuster, Ramesh Sippy and the actress, with the former explaining some scene to his leading lady.
Sholay remains one of my favourite for many reasons. Sharing a photo shared by my fan where director Ramesh Sippy is explaining me the scene. And you can clearly see those pages in my hand. I had to rattle off 4 pages of “Basanti” dialogues. This is the scene just before that “tanga” chase scene by Gabbar goons. #throwbackmemory #sholay
Captioning the photo with memories of her fond recollections of the shoot, the veteran actress certainly has set up her loyal Instagram viewers for a visual treat.
The iconic film and its even more iconic characters have been quite a rage ever since the release of the film more than 40 years back and understandably fans are excited at the nostalgia generated by this black and white reminiscence of the bygone era.
