Jahnvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter starrer Dhadak has been the anticipation of 2018. And even as it lives up to its pre release buzz, there’s still something more awaiting this beautiful film.
The Hindi remake of the hit Marathi movie Sairat, Dhadak had been much touted for being the debut film of Bollywood superstar Sridevi’s daughter. The movie has been quite an emotional experience for Jahnvi with the diva passing away in February recently.
And while Dhadak has been able to woo movie buffs collecting a decent Rs 54 crore within a week of its release, the fresh pairing of Jahnvi and Ishaan has also been received well by audiences.
Dharma Productions helmer Karan Johar, under whose banner the film was produced, is ecstatic at the success of the film. Understandably so. More than being the producer of Dhadak, Johar has also been among the few close friends of Sridevi.
And now Karan has also tweeted a heart warming message for the debutantes, wishing them all the luck for their future endeavors.
