Trooping The Color 2018 could not have been any more royal!
Newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went about their official royal duties in London on Saturday after being back from their honeymoon.
This was the new Duchess of Sussex’s first attendance of The Queen’s annual birthday parade.
And interestingly, in only her second royal appearance, Meghan chose to stun with a beautiful off the shoulder dress in a soothing pale pink hue.
What was palpable in this recent showcase of royalty was Markle’s supposed diversion from royal tradition.
Protocol necessitates that royals do not wear any ‘revealing’ style of clothing, but the new Duchess’ outfit is an essential breakaway from such traditions.

This is however, only an extension of what the former actress embodied through her wedding dress, which was slightly on the off- shoulder side as well.

No doubt, Markle looked every bit regal even as she ‘flouted’ the norms.
But a section of the social media still chose to disapprove of the new bride’s attire choice.
I’m afraid neither the dress nor the hair are appropriate and she knows it. Is it too much to show the Queen respect? #MeghanMarkle

While there were inevitably those who supported her outright.
The American Princess is the epitome of class, beauty and style. We love Meghan Markle.

But we can’t just help fancying the Carolina Herrera dress that featured a midi hemline, three flat, round buttons and a folded, off-the-shoulder neckline. That’s a total beauty in perfection for us!
