The Saudi Arabian national football team had a narrow escape on Wednesday.
The inflight team was on their way to the following World Cup match when the freak accident occurred.

Flames arose from the engine of the airplane in which the team was purportedly travelling.
However, no one was hurt in the incident, a release by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation stated.

The Russian Airlines Airbus apparently caught fire mid- air after a bird flew into its engine.
Videos uploaded to Twitter provided footage of fire shooting from the engine, which however did not result in any casualties. The players were also seen to be calm as they exited the plane.
