Forbes’ 2018 list of highest paid actors has two Indian entrants in its fore.
Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan, who had already found mention among the world’s top 100 highest paid celebrities of 2018 when the Forbes list was released earlier this year, also managed to find place in the coveted list of highest earning actors.
Hollywood veteran George Clooney tops the list, which finds Kumar and Khan find mention at the seventh and ninth positions respectively.
Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan as well as the Big B of Hindi cinema Amitabh Bachchan, however, failed to make it to the coveted list despite being a regular feature in all of the previous lineups.
With Clooney’s cumulative earnings of $239 million placing him at the top, following him in the list are Dwayne Johnson, Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Jackie Chan, Will Smith, Adam Sandler and Chris Evans apart from Khan and Kumar.
With collections of $4o.5 m courtesy his brand endorsements and commercial success, Akshay Kumar surpasses Salman Khan’s $38.5 m earnings to be put ahead of the latter in the list.
