Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has his focus set on the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi as the country gears up to celebrate the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation.
Commemorating what would have been the 150th birth day of the man who almost single handedly spearheaded India’s freedom struggle and tried to usher in a new era post the country’s independence, the entire nation is preparing for massive celebrations even while upholding the values and ideals of Gandhi or Bapu, as he was fondly called.
And celebrities like SRK has already set the precedent right. In a series of posts on social media platform Twitter, the actor urged his fans and followers to come forward to realise the dream of a clean India, while stressing on the hazards of open defecation, health risks of unclean toilets and benefits of waste management.

Coinciding with the anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission that was launched on October 2nd four years back, a host of celebrities from tinsel town showed their support for a clean India on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Mahatma, along the sidelines of the Swachh Bharat programme initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
