Bollywood producer and film maker Karan Johar has launched a new digital content division under the name of Dharmatic Entertainment.
In an Instagram post, Karan announced the latest venture undertaken by Dharma Productions, alongside a swanky snap of the company’s work place. Dharma Productions’ head of creative development Somen Mishra would preside over the fiction division, while former journalist Aneesha Baig would be the non-fiction chief.
Dharmatic Entertainment will create content for the digital space and will be headed by Johar and Apoorva Mehta, chief executive officer at Dharma Productions. Scheduled to churn out content from the next year, Dharmatic Entertainment is all raring to explore the realm of digital entertainment.
