Eminem’s Kamikaze gets a shot down with Rap Devil by Kelly

Eminem’s surprise jibe at celebrities in his equally surprise latest release Kamikaze doesn’t seem to have gone done well with everyone.

Kamikaze had managed to generate all the hype and publicity after it was abruptly dropped by the singer recently. Moreover, the tirades Eminem churned out against a bevy of rappers only seemed to have catapulted the hush hush album to the pinnacle of social media fame.

But in a latest development, Eminem’s lashings have been retaliated by none other than Machine Gun Kelly through his new song “Rap Devil”. Incidentally, Kelly used to regard Eminem as his idol till only some time back.

Eminem took a shot at Kelly in the track “Not Alike” from Kamikaze and surprisingly was met with a ‘tit for tat’ less than a week after the release of the album.

Eminem’s Not Alike lyrics went thus: “And I’m talkin’ to you / but you already know who the f–k you are, Kelly / I don’t use sublims and sure as f–k don’t sneak-diss / But keep commenting on my daughter Hailie.”, and is intentedly a jibe at Kelly tweeting way back in 2012 that the rap God’s daughter was “hot as f-k”.

But Kelly chose to take it a step further with his latest song, spelling out virtually offensive words:  “Tough talk from a rapper paying millions for security a year / ‘I think my dad’s gone crazy,’ yeah Hailie you right / Dad’s always mad cooped up in the studio yelling at the mic / You’re sober and bored, huh (I know) / About to be 46 years old, dog.”, and even going on to archive Eminem over the years as : “took you six years and a surprise album just to come with a diss,”.

Kelly was scathing in his retort, and he also took to Twitter in a post that read thus:

Woah, Kelly! That was some level of hitback!

The war seems to be on. So will Eminem launch another counter? We will have to wait and watch!
