Star Wars: The Clone Wars made an unanticipated trailer drop recently.
The 10th anniversary celebrations of the hugely popular animated series saw a major revelation when animation head Dave Filoni showed off the ‘present’ for the die hard fans of the franchisee show.

After pulling it off air in 2013 with its launch back in 2008 , the show returned on Netflix the following year, but without any of the characteristic fanfare you would expect of a fan favorite series.
Set to debut on Disney’s streaming platform after its launch next year, the Emmy award winning series will return for 12 episodes for what is expected to be a conclusion to the Clone Wars story.
The seventh season seems to start close on the heels of what happened in Revenge of the Sith. A hologram call for Obi- Wan and Anakin with the latter’s former apprentice Ahsoka and Mandalorian warrior Bo- Katan Kryze is what builds up the hype in the trailer. The focal point of the series can only be deciphered when the series finally begins its live stream sometime next year.

#SaveCloneWars have been tweeted by frenzied fans ever since the series went off stream. And with the latest development confirming the return of the show, #CloneWarsSaved will be the order of the day, it seems!
