Apple launched 2 new iPads – the 2019 iPad Air and the 2019 iPad Mini. There had been rumours by analysts and techies about the latest launch. This marks the revival of the iPad Air and the iPad Mini. It took a long time to receive these much needed upgrades but as they say – “Better Late Than Never”.

With the launch of the new iPad mini, Apple brings back one of its most popular iPad of the times. A 7.9 inch display that has been enhanced by its new Retina display boasts of a resolution of 2048 by 1536 pixels. A 3.5 mm audio port, a Touch ID sensor and Apple Pencil Support are other features that serve to enhance the functionability of the new device, which however is not compatible with the Smart Keyboard. Priced at Rs 34,900 for the Wi-Fi only variant, and Rs 45,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular variant, the A12 processor powered iPad is a lightweight catch at 299 grams.

The 2019 iPad Air contains the A12 bionic processor. It is compatible with Apple’s Smart Keyboard and also the Apple Pencil stylus. The latest iPad Mini features a 10.5-inch Retina display. It has a screen resolution of 2,224 x 1,668 pixels. It comes in two storage variants – 64GB or 256GB. The 2019 iPad Air is priced at Rs 44,900 for the Wi-Fi only variant, and Rs 55,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular variant.
